Mission:
The ICC is dedicated to engaging Canadians about citizenship.
Vision:
The ICC aspires to a society in which all citizens are welcomed and included as equals and consider the well-being of others a collective responsibility.
Guiding Principles:
- We believe that citizenship is an important bond that unites all Canadians;
- We believe that Aboriginal culture is a founding pillar of Canadian society and seek to build upon Aboriginal Canadians' tradition of welcoming others;
- We believe that progressive integration policies (social, economic, political) positively reinforce the value of citizenship;
- We believe that citizenship requires that one take responsibility for others.
