Ahlan! Welcome! Bienvenue!

The Ahlan Canada program had two very successful events in Toronto with 45 Syrian newcomers! Our first two events took place in collaboration with our founding partner, The Royal Ontario Museum and the Art Gallery of Ontario.

The newcomers were welcomed and lead through fun tours translated by Arabic speaking former members of the Cultural Access Pass! After the tours, families were able to explore on their own and learn more about Canada. A big thank you to our fantastic and dedicated volunteers!

We are looking forward to our many more Ahlan events all over Canada.

Are you a sponsor or settlement counsellor? Share with newcomers in your community! #AhlanCanada

Ahlan CAP Volunteers!

This month we would like to highlight our exceptional Ahlan CAP volunteers! Identified by their red arm bands these 16 volunteers took time out of their day to come help facilitate our two first Ahlan Canada events at the ROM and AGO.

Our Ahlan CAP volunteers were the support and backbone of these events!
