Major Gifts to the ICC

The ICC’s mandate is unique. We are the only Canadian non-profit organization devoted to citizenship, and to welcoming our newest citizens. Unlike thousands of organizations that provide wonderful and essential services for newcomers to Canada, we are the only organization that provides services for new Canadian citizens.

The process of welcoming a new citizen, connecting them with their community and their new country, doesn’t end at the citizenship ceremony – it is just the beginning. We strive, through our innovative programs, to engage and welcome each and every new Canadian citizen and to help them experience all that Canada has to offer.

Donors play a critical role by supporting program and operating costs which allow us to continue our work to engage, welcome and celebrate what it means to be Canadian.

Citizenship Luminaries of the Institute for Canadian Citizenship

Citizenship Luminary for donations of $50,000 and above
In recognition of their generous support, Citizenship Luminaries are offered:
  • Invitation to an exclusive event for ICC supporters
  • VIP access to the LaFontaine-Baldwin Symposium for the member and up to 3 guests
  • Invitations to ICC media events and program launches
  • Identified on the ICC's webpage, and in its annual report and in general ICC communications
  • A charitable tax receipt for the maximum amount allowable under CRA guidelines
 

Friends of the Institute for Canadian Citizenship

Benefactor for donations of $10,000 and above
In recognition of their generous support, Benefactors of the ICC are offered:
  • Subscription to the ICC e-newsletter
  • Identified on the ICC's webpage, and in its annual report
  • Invitations to community events and receptions
  • The opportunity to attend a private party at the LaFontaine-Baldwin Symposium
  • An autographed copy of Adrienne Clarkson's new book Room For All of Us
  • Exclusive behind-the-scenes experience leading up to the LaFontaine-Baldwin Symposium
  • Invitation to an exclusive event for ICC supporters

Impresario for donations of $5,000 and above
In recognition of their generous support, Impresarios of the ICC are offered:
